Booth Space Regulations
All Vendors and Sponsors at the Florida International Reptile Expo must maintain a neat, organized, and professional booth space area. Your space is a reflection of your business and the Florida International Reptile Expo.
- Tables must be covered in order to maintain a more
professional atmosphere. Vendors can purchase plastic skirting for $6. Long
Tablecloths will substitute for skirting!
- Booth space should be kept neat...this helps you look more professional.
- Cancellations prior to October 1st will receive a refund if the reserved space can be sold.
No refunds will be made on reserved spaces canceled after June 21st.
- These rules and regulations are designed to create a professional, comfortable
atmosphere for our Guests, Exhibitors, and Sponsors in order to promote positive
memories and a desire to return to future venues of the Florida International Reptile Expo.

Exhibitor Venomous Qualifications
- Exhibitor sales must pertain to reptiles, amphibians, or invertebrates.
Live animals, supplies, products, diets, and conservation materials qualify.
- Exhibitors must have all required permits to sell animals. (www.floridaconservation.com)
- Exhibitors must comply with all rules of the Florida International Reptile Expo.
Name Badges
- With each 8’ x 8’ exhibitor space, two Exhibitor name badges are included.
- Exhibitor is responsible for submitting quantity names badges and list
of names by June 15, 2008.
- Additional Exhibitor name Badges are $10 each.
- Exhibitors must wear name badges at all times during operating hours of the Florida International Reptile Expo.
- Sharing or reselling Name badges is prohibited.
Animal Regulations
- All herptiles and arthropods must be kept in clean containers that meet Florida State standards of caging requirements.
- Only reptiles, amphibians and arthropods can be exhibited at the Florida International Reptile Expo.
- The Florida International Reptile Expo Veterinarian must approve all animals that enter the show area for exhibition, sale or trade.
- All animals, captive bred or imported, deemed questionable or ailing by staff or veterinarian must be removed from Florida International Reptile Expo.
- All wild caught or imported reptiles must have the container clearly labeled with the species and stating the animal is wild caught or imported.
- No misleading of sales of Herps or Arthropods.
- Reptiles must be clean and safely displayed in enclosures at all times except to show a customer (venomous animals must be secured and locked in enclosures at all times).
- Exhibitors must provide customer with container to transport purchase.
- No customers may be in the Florida International Reptile Expo with purchased animals in an unsecured manner.
- No customers will be allowed into the Florida International Reptile Expo with their animals. Once animals leave the show area, same rule applies; animals can not come back in.
- Prior to leaving the Florida International Reptile Expo each evening be certain your containers and enclosures are secured.
- Exhibitors are responsible to represent and sell animals accurately and honestly.
- Take time to educate buyers on new animals they purchase from you. Explain to your customers what your guarantee is and how they can reach you.
- Venomous snakes are allowed with proper permitting and approval from the Operations Director of the Florida International Reptile Expo. Venomous Reptiles will only be allowed in the Venomous Area.
- Each Exhibitor is responsible for collecting Florida sales tax (6.5%). Exhibitors selling Herptiles and Arthropods must have proper permitting from Local, State or Federal government to sell animals.

- Exhibitors must abide by all laws Federal, State and Show Rules.
- Permitting is required before vendor set up. If proper permitting is not present, exhibitors will not be permitted to enter the show to sell products, animals etc. and forfeit their exhibitor space(s). No refunds due to the negligence of exhibitors.
- All exhibitors are expected to display their products and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- All exhibitors displaying, selling, or trading venomous reptiles must abide by all Florida International Reptile Expo Venomous Reptile Rules and Regulations.
Venomous Regulations
- All exhibitors displaying, selling, buying, possessing or trading venomous reptiles must present proper, up to date,
permitting to the Florida International Reptile Expo Operations Director before June 30, 2008.
- All enclosures containing venomous reptiles must remain closed and locked at all times during the Florida International Reptile Expo!
- All exhibitors displaying, selling, buying or trading venomous reptiles must have proper, up to date, permitting at all times during the Orlando F.I.R.E. Show.
- Only Exhibitors can bring in venomous reptiles to the Orlando F.I.R.E. Show.
- The only time that venomous reptiles will be out of enclosures is during scheduled demonstrations and during shows by professionals with proper permitting.
- Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. This is a request from Exhibitors, it is not a law.

Setup
- Exhibitor Setup will be from 12pm-9pm Friday July 18 and 8:00am-9:30am Saturday July 19.
- Exhibitors will receive our now famous vendor bags upon check-in!
